On Wednesday, May 7, 2003, a handful of Chamber representatives were treated to a another adventure... morel mushroom hunting followed by a gourmet "totally mushroom" dinner.
Thank you so-o-o-o much to Joe Breidenstein at Springbrook Hills. "A Northern Michigan Experience with Nature and Good Cooking" is what Joe's brochure states and those of us lucky enough to be included, can certainly testify to the veracity of that statement! You, too can enjoy a "Mushroom Outing" by calling 231-535-2227. And ask Joe to send you his brochures because he always has something going, including fishing and golfing spring and fall vacation packages.

L to R: Howard, Elizabeth, Teresa, Mary, Alice, Peggy, Sara, Jim, and Oral.
Below are thumbnails of some of the photos taken. Click on the photo to see it enlarged.

It's twins! |

Not easy to find these little guys. |
Same as above, but with Laurie on right instead of Oral. |
